About Opeongo Nordic

About Opeongo Nordic

Opeongo Nordic grooms and maintains cross country ski trails, for both classic and skate skiing. The trails are located on beautiful rolling wilderness terrain — come and experience fantastic cross-country skiing in the beautiful Opeongo hills!

Your fees make the club possible. All revenue is invested back into the club — for trail grooming (fuel, parts and repairs), snowplowing for access and parking and landowner/club insurance.

We are part of the Cross Country Ontario / Cross Country Canada club system, with the National Capital District clubs, which includes the Deep River Cross Country Ski Club, Pembroke Area Cross Country Ski Club and Nakkertok Nordic (Ottawa). We are a non-profit, volunteer-operated club.

Located in Brudenell, Ontario, Opeongo Nordic is close to the Madawaska Valley (Barry’s Bay, Combermere and Wilno) as well as Killaloe, Foymount, Eganville and Round Lake. We’re 40 minutes east of Algonquin Park and only 15 minutes south of Hwy 60 at Killaloe (Brudenell Road). Opeongo Nordic is located at 109 Nordic Lane, Brudenell, Ontario.
